This is her story:
Q: When and why did you fall in love with fitness?
A: As a kid I was always my happiest when I was being active. It didn’t matter if I was playing a sport or just running around in cycles, if I was moving I was happy.
Q: Staying committed to a health and fitness goal is very challenging for a lot of people. Any advice for people struggling to stay on track?
A: Just decide what you want the most out of life, then think about how you will get there. No matter what your goals are, they take time. Time makes you older and if you don’t take care of your health you won’t be able to enjoy your achievements, health related or not.
Q: As a former fitness model competitor with 2 pro cards, personal trainer and fitness coach, what compelled you to enter the field of fitness as a career?
A: I started competing with the intension of learning everything I could about health and fitness. I later found out that not everything about competing is healthy. I have always enjoyed sharing and teaching what I learn. The rest just fell into place. I keep doing what I keep doing because people keep asking.
Q: Many people would like to enter a fitness competition but don't know how. What's the process for entering into a competition and how do you prep?
A: This can be a long drawn out answer, but I will just say that if that’s what you want to do then ask around at your local gym and find out where people are competing. Then join my Body Makeover Movement Program and learn how to diet yourself the all natural healthy way.
Q: The before and after results from clients who have entered into your workout program is amazing! How does your program work and how is it different from other health and fitness programs?
A: The Body Makeover Movement Program takes all aspects of fitness and life and teaches the people how to live a balanced life. I teach people how to listen to their body and how to make solid goals to work towards. I am a true believer in a support system and community. That’s what the #BMM_FitFam is all about.
Q: Building a business and a brand is extremely difficult, especially in the competitive field of health and fitness. How did you do it?
A: I have to say, it is a grind. You need to make a plan and keep going. No matter how many times you get knocked down, you just have to keep going. Of all the things that I believe is the most important is to have faith and guidance from above.
Q: With over a million social media followers, you've built an army of loyal fans. How did you do it?
A: If I was honest I have to say, I don’t know. lol
Q: How has the health and fitness lifestyle affected your life beyond its physical benefits?
A: Being healthy is the most important thing. When I’m feeling good I’m more productive, I’m happier and I’m a better person. I have more energy for everything.
Q: Any exciting plans for the future?
A: Nope, I just go with the flow.
Q: Any advice you can offer to those looking to build a business or a personal brand out of their passion on or offline?
A: Be yourself. Work hard and live your best life. People will be attracted to your passion.
